U.S. Japan Hits, Wins Sixth Title Of The Little League World Series In 7 Years
The guys from Huntington Beach, California, presented the Little League World Series championship trophy back to America after a year's absence.
Bases loaded single by Nick Pratto two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning led the way breaking run in Southern California, sending the boys won 2-1 in Hamamatsu City, Japan on Sunday afternoon.
Pratto as if they do not feel enough pressure to win the game, the crowd added to the second layer, chanting, "USA! USA!" When he came to bat.
"I just thought." Oh, my God, my God, "before arriving at the table," said Pratt 12. "But once I got into the box, I was relieved when I just try to tell a good location."
As a mini-professional would. Pratto (pictured left, with Braydon Salzman right) came through the center line after a failure to implement earlier than Japan has been marking its course. He also had the key regional final blow that sent the U.S. team South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, for the final.
Pratt, who said he saw the EPSN "greatest moment" of his young life in a post-game interview, said he would remember a particular case:
"Oh, that hit. It affected the coming out it felt good. ... I just knew it was over."
The child receives the winning shot, and comes with a little phrase in the majors.
United States scored its only run from the other home care Hagen Danner - who may be the coolest name of each child on the planet. And the Americans got another strong pitching performance, Salzman, who has erected a complete game three-hitter. You may recall that the cap was a kid - especially Bill - was saved by taking a drive off line to the head before the tournament. (Salzman also turned up wrapped in the flag.)
International tournament for children aged 11-13, the team began 7000 and lasted 45 days. The United States has won six championships in the last seven LLWS, Japan has won exemption a year ago.
