Chely Wright Is Married To A Partner Lauren Blitzer Connecticut
In a sense, was a traditional wedding, as could be. It was held Saturday afternoon at the home of a family member, was the president of the clergy, and the bride wore white.
Oh, wait - make the brides wore white!
Yes, Chely Wright - who is recognized as the country of the first star to come out as a lesbian - and his partner, civil rights activist Lauren Blitzer, tied the knot on Saturday in Connecticut with more than 200 friends and family assistance, according to People.
Although the familiar elements of the plans of marriage, Wright, Blitzer and the Union was filled with lots of personal touches. Aunt Blitzer, it was decided to enter. Wright is a Christian and a Jew Blitzer, they chose a religious rite, and chairman of the pastor and a rabbi. Music was the DJ spun ("wedding bands made me nervous," said Wright of the People). The wedding was a barbecue. And even though they both opted for white dresses and the bride wore a veil - "We want our hair too!"
Wright, 40, was released in May 2010 and met Blitzer, 30, a couple of weeks. In April 2011 a couple announced their engagement. Connecticut is one of many states legally recognized same-sex marriages. The two are currently living in New York, which recently decided to recognize same-sex marriages, but had not taken this decision the commitment of a couple.
Although Wright claims that she has not received much support from the community of Nashville after leaving, she told People famous friends such as Faith Hill and former boyfriend Brad Paisley reached out with encouragement and kindness. The week before the wedding, Wright has established a flood of congratulatory comments on her Twitter account, including that of actor / singer Kristin Chenoweth: "We love you so much and can not wait to hear the details!"
A toast to the bride newest beautiful country ... and his beautiful wife! Congratulations!
