Cheney Reveals The "secret Place"
After the September 11 terrorist attacks, Vice President Dick Cheney was lost and was kicked out of "safe and secret place" to protect his safety. But Cheney never confirmed where it crouched.
That is, until now.
Cheney confirms in his new memoir, "In My Time," some of the speculation was correct - one of his "secret locations" was his residence in northwest Washington, DC, the Washington Post reports.
That, in turn, means that Joe Biden was right.
Vice President Biden said the world in 2009 discovered the bunker beneath his home for a visit to their new home. Biden demonstrated during the Gridiron Club dinner in 2009 that the room was located "behind a solid steel door secured by a padlock developed by a narrow corridor lined with shelves full of communications equipment connection," wrote Newsweek Eleanor Clift time.
In the book, said Cheney, who, in addition to his house DC, other places were familiar, at his home in Wyoming and the presidential retreat Camp David.
Cheney writes that he was surprised by the interest in the position, notes that "Saturday Night Live" skit that placed him in a cave in Afghanistan, according to the Post.
