The World Record Holder Of Worldwide Controversy DQ Champs
They call it the curse of world record holders.
A day after Usain Bolt was disqualified in the 100 meters at the World Championships because of a false start, had Cuba'a Dayron Robles, the world record holder in 110 meter hurdles gold medal after removing officers that he was illegally hit Chinese track hero Liu Xiang, the end of the race.
The disqualification resulted American Jason Richardson to move from silver to gold. Xiang, who finished third in the original race was awarded the silver medal.
Robles Xiang arm hit twice in the last 20 meters of the race, pushing the pace of China Star and the last obstacle. Was disqualified because it was determined that prevented Xiang way to the finish line.
