63-year Delay Robber With A Rear Naked Choke
A thief messed with the wrong man in Florida Thursday night. 63, used 5 feet 7 inches Fred Kemp sweep of the foot and a rear naked choke to disarm a robber who pointed his gun at Kemp and his wife.
The couple were to enter their car in Boynton Beach when a man came out of the darkness and approached them with what turned out to be a pellet gun. Wanting to keep his wife safe, Kemp returned the skills he learned as a wrestler for Hofstra University.

"He started beating me, so I responded from there," a bruised but smiling Kemp said Friday. "I told the street and stretched out his arm. I told her feet dragged down and tried to grab the gun. He hit a little, but my main concern was the gun."
Kemp quick thinking led him to apply a rear choke, then when the thief has weakened, took the gun from him. The police report stated that Kemp held the robber until police arrive.
