New Bob Marley & The Wailers The Video Educates East Africa Crisis
Tuesday, the estate of Bob Marley, Simon Fuller, founder of Island Records, Chris Blackwell worldwide released a new video for Bob Marley & The Wailers 1973 the song "Hide tide or low tide."
The video documenting the crisis in East Africa over 9 million people die of hunger.
Edited by Kevin Macdonald, director of "The Last King of Scotland" and the upcoming documentary "Marley", "Low Tide Tide or hide" includes footage of new mothers blank stare of his children, grandchildren are unconscious in the half carcasses of wild animals, and many babies fragile, ill.
In one of the most poignant images, drag a mother, a bucket from a well to find it filled with earth and not a drop of water.
It is fitting that this song of Bob Marley & The Wailers first album "will be selected to help raise awareness about the tragedy.
The "high tide or low tide" lyrics still causes chills almost 40 years after the start of the song. Marley, an icon in the afternoon, he used his music to promote social change, who sings in his mother's prayers.
