Documentary: The Last-minute Doubts About Bin Laden RAID
NEW YORK (AP) - A new documentary that reveals the last minute examination of intelligence before the raid that killed Osama bin Laden last spring, casting fresh doubt if the leader of al Qaeda in Pakistan was really a compound where he was found .
Network history, "Bin Laden is targeting" special that airs next Tuesday, said the president Barack Obama has called a special "Red Team" of terrorism experts to consider the evidence. This team was no doubt that bin Laden was Abbottobad, Pakistan, at home, mainly because he did not believe he would take the risk of having so many visitors like him.

Despite the new assessment, Obama ordered the mission to continue. Four days later, on May 2nd, a team of Navy SEALs US successfully located and killed the terrorist leader behind the September 11, 2001 attacks.
Obama was interviewed two weeks ago for individuals, giving an account of the ticking went into the planning and execution of the raid. Other people interviewed for the special include National Security Adviser Tom Donilon, the White House against-terrorism adviser, John Brennan and former CIA officials.
The special "red team" was not involved in the exploitation of intelligence, the search for bin Laden or a planned raid. It was considered the evidence for the first time, the story says that special. Their first score deflated policy makers, and only half of those planning RAID advised Obama to go after hearing their report.
"At the end of the day that the president can weigh the risks," said researchers Donilon. "Only the president can ask," in the interest of the nation? What are the risks worth taking here? What will we do if it works? How would I react if it does not work? It was the quintessential presidential decision. "
"Targeting Bin Laden" was made for the cable network in the same production company that made "America The story of us." It will be broadcast at 20 pm ET, September 6.
The History Channel is owned by Television Networks A & E, a joint venture between The Walt Disney Co., Hearst Corp. and Comcast Corp., NBC Universal.
