Michelle Obama Wears An Iconic 2008 Speech To Wear My Husband's Work
Michelle Obama was trying to bring luck to her husband's political speech to Congress Thursday night?
The first lady, Obama's work involved wearing the same dress she wore that day in June 2008, when her husband clinched the Democratic nomination for president after a long battle with Hillary Clinton. (Victory of Barack Obama's Montana primary June 3, 2008, put it on top.)
Fuchsia sheath dress, created by Chicago designer Maria Pinto, Michelle Obama, fashion icon brand and has long been involved in one of her husband's most important political victories.
However, there is a bit of a disadvantage of clothing: Pinto, who later went on to dress Obama in terms of several others, went bankrupt and closed its doors in 2010. The developer blamed their problems on the nation's economic difficulties.
It is unclear whether the first lady was a deliberate attempt to invoke the magic of 2008 in a speech that was widely recognized as an official launch of his campaign of 2012 - or if it was just a place for recycling. A spokeswoman for Michelle Obama did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
